Announcing MOSS 2007 ECM Developer Training

Let's face it, SharePoint is a huge development platform no matter what angle you approach it from. As most of you know, I've spent the past year or so traveling and teaching SharePoint developer courses for the Ted Pattison Group, and my focus has been pretty broad, covering topics ranging from features to content types to workflow and everything in between. Understanding Property Cycles.

I’ve often said that until you have invested through a full property cycle, you don’t really fully appreciate the property markets. You look… though many books and articles refer to the average annual compound growth of property as 10%, it is NOT constant each and every year. Property values tend to rise in cycles. In some years there will be strong growth and in others there will be no growth or negative growth. A simplistic version of the cycle goes something like this… As populations grow

10 Principles of the CSS Masters

10 Principles of the CSS Masters Written by Glen Stansberry When it comes to CSS, there are lots of resources and supposed “expert tips” on the web. These are from unproven, self-proclaimed “gurus” who have no road cred in the design world. While they may have valid points, how is one to know whether a CSS tip is a valid resource or just an untested hack? Instead of relying on unknown sources for advice, let’s look deeply into designers who have excellent design backgrounds and have walked

4 Questions for Every Early Adopter

The battle lines have been drawn today. You’re with us or you’re against us. You’re chilly and hip or lame and square. No, I’m not talking about political lines (for once), I’m talking about the early adopters versus the mainstream, or as Robert Scoble framed it: the passionates versus the non-passionates. What, though, is a passionate (sometimes referred to as an ‘evangelist’)? What is the definition of an early-adopter? Quite simply, and perhaps obviously, it’s a person who embraces new techn

Services Do Well: TPI, Hastie.

On Tuesday Transpacific Industries Group (TPI) told the markets that 91% of the banks involved in a $300 million-plus tranche of credit had signalled their willingness to extend it for a year from this December.
